"If a female [mountain brushtail possum] does have to travel along way because those resources have been disturbed, then a male, we presume, is much better off just sticking with one female, and at least being assured of fathering her young." - Dr Jenny Martin
Dr Jenny Martin Dr Jenny Martin's primary research interest is the way in which the ecology and behaviour of wildlife species can be influenced by the changes humans make to the natural environment e.g. habitat fragmentation and logging. Jenny is particularly interested in social and mating behaviour and investigating the ways in which these behaviours alter in response to changes in resource availability and distribution.
