![]() Dr Belinda Appleton Dr Belinda Appleton is a Geneticst who specializes in ecological genetics, speciation and phylogenetics of wildlife. Her laboratory investigates the processes of evolution and speciation in natural populations, and are interested in the processes of micro-differentiation, subsequent speciation and the effect on species diversity in different parts of the world. On a finer scale Dr Appleton's lab studies population structure and interactions between populations. The findings of this work are important to the development of effective species management plans. The lab uses a multi-disciplinary approach which includes ecology, morphology, geography and genetic analysis, and collaborates with both Australian and international institutions, including Universities and Museums. |

Lovely episode
I was shocked by the episode and cant avoid leaving a note, thanks for helping us understand what we will be facing in the future if we don't push our leaders to change the way we abuse our planet. I need to do something...
